Ribbon Campaign

VCARS of HN launched a ribbon campaign in the spring of 1998. The ribbons have three colours, which represent the elements needed for effective crisis intervention. The white ribbon symbolizes awareness and support for victims. The blue ribbon folded over the white ribbon symbolizes the strength and support volunteers give to victims in their time of need. The gold tie symbolizes the community wrapping around VCARS of HN and the victim, in caring support. For our program to be effective all elements must to present.

Victim Services of HN has created the ribbon campaign for two reasons:

1. To raise awareness concerning victims needs within Haldimand and Norfolk Counties.

2. To raise money in order to meet the needs of the victims we service.

Teddy Bear Campaign

VCARS of HN provides Teddy Bears for children whose families have been involved in a crisis situation. Our Teddy Bear fund is a separate financial need that is on going.
